Company Overview and History

Everest Trade Link," Registered under Ministry of Commerce, Nepal as P.F.R.N.58819/058/59 SA.PA.AH.NI" is one of the leading business house in the country involved in the sales and marketing of many kinds of  Agricultural, Medical and Technological products manufactured by many leading companies of the world and has established itself as highly professional company in the trading business in the country. It has the business and trading alliance with many multinational companies and its clients include many public and private enterprises,hospitals,international agencies, business individuals etc. of the country. Established nearly five years back in 2002 A.D on the modest scale with few staffs and few hundred thousands of NRS. of working capital, it has multiplied itself manifold in terms of business earnings and organizational growth. In spite of all the constraints and impediments, it has managed to weather all the storms to embark on the path of prosperity and self-development. The company is currently run by very efficient and effective management with the holistic approach of providing the clients with the better products on the better price with strong back up services. This means the careful understanding of the clients' requirements of the product and services and the provisions of those requirements on the best terms and conditions possible. The company has annual turnover of 15 million in Nepali Currency.

Location:

The company is located in busy commercial suburb of Katmandu city with its branch offices spread over in all the regional centers of Nepal. It has the plan to relocate in more spacious and comfortable building in the main center plaza in Kathmandu.

Staffs and Human Resources:

The company has at present 50 staffs working in the different Departments. The Company keeps no more staffs than required in order to reduce the duplication of works and unnecessary redundancies.

Annual Turnover:

The annual turnover is 15 Million in NRS. from the trading Business. Out of the total turn over,80% constitutes from the sale of Hydro, Agricultural and Medical equipments where as 20% is respectively from the sales of Other Products like Handicraft, Pashmina and Carpets.

Very flexible and innovative where the employees are provided the opportunities to grow them by using their own discretion while making their own decision. Synergy is developed by initiating the brain storming sessions, discussions, meetings, seminars and respecting the ideas of each other to reach to a acceptable conclusion. Business ethics are given the prominence with unflinching respect for the customers' demand and grievances.

Logistic Support:

Company has its own repair and maintenance lab run by highly trained and qualified engineers who have the in-depth knowledge and expertise to repair the equipments sold under their banner. The company has the arrangements with the local research centers and engineering workshops in case it needs further help for the repair and maintaince.

Marketing Strengths:

Being one of the early starters in the Agricultural, Hydro and Medical equipment business in the country, it has already developed a rapport and understanding with all the Agricultural, Hydrological and Medical professionals and doctors in the country. Its marketing network is extensive and is extended throughout the country. The Company has always resorted to its business policy of providing the best product at the best price to its client. This has helped to make its impression on its client of being the reliable company on which clients can put their trust on for the quality products on the reasonable price. Its venture into other business like Engineering has further extended its marketing networks, which tends to compliment each other in case of need. The in-house repair and maintaince has created further business in terms of procurement of spare parts, replacement equipment or new equipments for the clients. More options are provided to them to choose from. Availability of range of products generate further market for package buying.

Goal:

To further diversify the business portfolios embarking into the services business like Telecommunication and Power thus bringing the synergy in the organizational development by complimenting the trading and service business together to best utilize the company's resources and strengths. To import and trade the products and services to its clients that maximizes their investment and satisfaction. To increase the business turnover by 200% from the trading and sales within five years period. Venture into the new business like Telecom services (fixed and mobile) and hydropower generation within three years period. Work on the possibility of tying up with the multinational operators for financing and technology transfer. Develop business alliances with other multinational companies whose products has potential to be marketed in the country.
